What's on my plate

House repairs have been on my plate for most of the year. Hopefully, these house numbers will signal an end to most of them for a long while. Didn't think the single digits required a knife. A quick photo before the sun sets and the numbers will no longer be available as an entree.

Strawberry

Late night still life with some luscious strawberries and Holbein's watercolor Opera, also very luscious. The privacy of sketching near midnight seems less restrictive, "I can do anything I want" and usually have more fun. Thanks to Margaret at Water Blossoms, I experimented and reversed the colors.

Dancing Still Life

Interesting things happen late at night. Giant pears, a potted plant and a glass dish start to dance. Color pencil on charcoal paper.
