Fragments

One doorway leads to another. Some thoughts float into the room.

Tiny bit of a large Asian theme collage.

Three pieces of an incense burner became more interesting when broken.

In a Japanese garden sketching, I looked up and saw delicate fern like leaves.

Still Life

Vincent Van Gogh's letters to his youngest sister Willemein during the last four years of his life, living in Arles, France. The countryside, people, landscape, colours, seasons and the difference in light inspired and gave him joy.

Painting at night, picking colors in the dark. He found joy during a creative period in his life. A happy ending depends on where you end the story.

"I believe that a man and a woman inevitably has to be in love with something..."
Vincent Van Gogh

Sweaters to Sea Snakes

Buyer's remorse. Returned sweaters that looked better on the hanger.

Bedtime sketching whatever caught my eye. Alice grew taller sketched on foam core to the left, watching a show on my laptop, reading Typhoon Lover (mystery) and Stephen King's autobiography, an Edward Goreyish childhood.

The Aquarium used to have an ethereal display of sea snakes.
